Description
Summary:Trees along border agroforestry pattern is a combination of seasonal crops and forest trees that can serve as a buffer both economically and environmentally. The wide variation in the pattern of land owned trees along the border, is used to determine the characteristic patterns of trees along the border, both in terms of potential, structure and composition. This study aims to determine the potential of the land owned stands of variation and utilization of space (vertical and horizontal) on the pattern of trees along the border. The study was conducted in Nglanggeran Kulon with quantitative methods. Purposive sampling is done directly on the land owned by the requirement to have a pattern of cropping land owned trees along the border. The variable which observed are tree height, tree diameter, canopy width, and location coordinates of trees. The analysis is used to determine the potential, diversity, and IVI (index value is important) any land owned and visualization of trees along the border pattern both vertically and horizontally on any land owned. Agroforestry narrow area consisted of 21 constituent types of stands, with the dominant type of mahogany with IVI value of 116 % at the level of the tree of life and 127% IVI pole at the level of living and the highest Lbds in Af TAB 1 is mahogany with a 9,18 m2/ha with the highest potential on Af TAB 1 is 472,44 m3/ha. Af TAB 2 has 11 constituent types of stands, with the dominant type of mahogany with IVI value of 119% at the level of the tree of life and 115% IVI pole at the level of living and the highest Lbds in shown by plant mahogany with 5,13 m2/ha with the highest potential in Af TAB 2 is 368,12 m3/ha . Af TAB 3 consists of nine types making up the stand, with the dominant type of mahogany with IVI value of 142% at the level of the tree of life and 176% IVI pole at the level of living and the highest density of Af TAB 3 is a mahogany plant was 4,49 m2/ha with potential highest Af TAB 3 is 152,93 m3/ha. Utilization of space in agroforestry trees along border. The total is not always the greatest potential to be the largest in land area that can be seen by comparing the respective total potential variation on the whole area of land owned. However, correlation analysis showed that the relationship between the total land area owned by the author of the volume is weak, indicated by the correlation value 0,273.
