Summary:PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Lampung is the only unit of PLN outside Java and Bali which has a status as a distribution board. Electrification ratio of Lampung region reached 73% by the end of 2013. The higher number of customer will certainly make the cost of electrity supply to customer higher too. One component of these costs is the distribution cost of Material Distribusi Utama (MDU). The distribution of goods that are currently running at PT. PLN Lampung is performed by Third Party Logistics (3PL). However, in order to improve the efficiency of distribution costs, PT. PLN Distribusi Lampung decided to take over the distribution of corporate�s material. One of the efforts made by PT. PLN Distribusi Lampung is by designing a new system called Gudang Online Delivery (GOLD). GOLD is a logistics management system that serves to schedule, plan, and monitor the activities of distribution. Therefore, we need a distribution network design strategy for running the distribution company. This study developed two strategies of supply chain network strategy. The first strategy is by performing a direct shipment distribution which is directly to one rayon. The second strategy is a milkrun shipment distribution performed centrally by the warehouse. The Warehouse has a main duty to deliver every demand requested by rayon. In this strategy, the demands are grouped before being delivered to rayon simultaneously. PT. PLN Lampung operates in three main areas, each area is divided into several rayons. There are some restrictions on the delivery time in every area.
