M.Eng. ETD Slider camera has been made using stepper motor with distance sensor based Arduino Nano as pcket camera and smartphone driver to get a footage with crab technique with very slow movement. The footage edited with fast forward effect as timelapse footage on video software editor. The design of this device using the Arduino Nano, optocoupler sensor unipolar stepper motor driver, LCD 2x16, servo motor, and limit switch sensor. The device is work with inputting coordinat of x axis and y axis. It is also inputting the speed of movement. LCD 2x16 used as user interface. The Distance of coordinat measurement based on measurement of circle circumference with angle position detection by optocoupler sensor. This Device is able to control motion of camera with slow movement. So, it is suitable as camera slider without drive it manually. The level precission of distance sensor is up to 1,18mm/step. But, motor stepper driver are used only can drive the motors in full step mode. So, the movement unstill smoothly. This stepper motor driver need further development for another device application.
