EVALUASI KETELITIAN BASELINE PADA PENGOLAHAN JARING GPS GUNUNG MERAPI DENGAN MODEL KOREKSI TROPOSFER

One bias that affects the precision of the GPS data is tropospheric refraction. Tropospheric refraction can cause changes in the direction and speed of the satellite signal. This resulted in changes in the measured distance from the satellite to the receiver at the earth's surface. This troposp...

總結:One bias that affects the precision of the GPS data is tropospheric refraction. Tropospheric refraction can cause changes in the direction and speed of the satellite signal. This resulted in changes in the measured distance from the satellite to the receiver at the earth's surface. This tropospheric refraction will affect on the precision of baselines resulted from GPS data processing. In baseline processing where the points have large height difference, such as the GPS points at Mount Merapi, the effect of tropospheric refraction will be even greater. The tropospheric refraction can be eliminated by the application of tropospheric correction model. The effect of the tropospheric correction model on baseline precision in GPS data processing assessed in this research. The data were GPS observation data of CEPO, DELE, JRA0, MRIY, MVOY dated August 1st 2000 with a 5-hour long observation and sampling rate of 30 seconds. This research was conducted by comparing the baseline precision resulted from GPS data processing with and without Saastamoinen tropospheric correction model. GPS data processing was performed using GPS Analysis of Massachusset Institute of Technology (GAMIT) software. The results showed that the use of tropospheric correction in GPS data processing produced a more precise baseline value. This can be seen from the standard deviation value of the baseline which are in the range of 2.74 mm to 4.68 mm compared to those without tropospheric correction model applied which are in the range of 5.02 mm to 6.71 mm. The results of statistical test showed that the precision of the data processed with and without correction tropospheric model have significant differences.
