ETD Technology today is growing, so a lot of equipment or machinery that was created to facilitate and do not want to be bothered with trivial things, diataranya is automatic fan with PIR sensor switch that can be accessed without having direct contact with the tool and can also automatically determines the rotational speed . With the way the work will greatly facilitate the work of saving energy. ATmega16 microcontroller is used as a control tool and also as the central data for data processing. PIR series HC-SR501 is used as a switch in order to program the temperature readings and fan speed settings can be run. As input data to be read room temperature LM35 temperature sensor is used, then the data is in the form of voltage is converted by the ADC on the microcontroller features. The ADC data is used as the data room temperature and as a regulator of the rotational speed of a DC fan. High room temperature and the level will be displayed on the LCD. The test results showed that the higher the temperature of the room then the higher the rotational speed of the fan and vice versa, when the room temperature is low, the lower the rotational speed of the fan.
