| Summary: | Language is not only serves as a medium for the dissemination of information, but also serves as a medium of education, social criticism, and entertainment. Humor is one of the language functions that is often used in daily life activity. This study is analyzing about the uses of language aspects and context which found in comedy show Gag Concert. The purpose of this study is to find out about the aspects of the language and contexts that used on comedy show Gag Concert. The method of research devided into three phase, collecting, analyzing, and presentating the research result. Aspect of language that used in gag concert are aspect of phonology, synonym, lexical ambiguity and grammatical ambiguity. There is seven context that used in Gag Concert which song lyric, movie title, tv show title, concern question, trap question, riddle question and command word. The conclusion from this study is the uses of language aspects and context was used as one of humor creator tools on comedy show Gag Concert. Through this research, people who study about Korea will have more understanding about how to use language in Koreaan humor. |
