Summary:Voice communication over the phone can be done via the Internet without the cost and distance limitations. Protocol TCP/IP data network can be connected in a variety of computers in the world, this protocol takes more exist and so many people who develop voice traffic method through this protocol. VoIP is a technology that allows voice conversations remotely via the Internet media. The voice data is converted into digital code and flowing through the network to send data packets. The method used is the methods of analysis and design. As a server, asterisk is one solution to reduce development costs in the cost. VoIP uses SIP as the communication protocol can be selected for its ability to achieve TCP and UDP on the local network or the Internet. Asterisk as a VoIP server, using the SIP protocol running on TCP and UDP, without burdening the performance of TCP. Delays in VoIP communications is caused by changes in the data into sound. VoIP system that results from the study may have been used over a local network or the Internet. Thus, the handling of communication that occurs can be done anywhere VoIP users can do with an internet connection requirements.
