Summary:Background: Patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy requires the nurse's role in dealing with the side effects that occur during therapy. Nurses play a role in the provision of nursing care to patients. Universitas Gadjah Mada Academic Hospital has been using standard Nanda, NOC, and NIC in the applications of nursing care to patients, especially patients with hemodialysis. Result : The resultof this study indicate that the application of nursing diagnosis that 100% in accordance with NANDA nursing diagnosis is excess fluid volume, while the implementation of the goals and outcome criteria were not appropriate to NOC due to lack of purpose and expected outcomes that are made. Implementation of interventions according to established diagnosis in accordance to NIC, even though not all of tha activities were performed. Conclusion : diagnosis of nursing that nurses enforced is 100% in accordance with NANDA and nursing interventions performed in accordance with the exsisting standard NIC, while the implementation of the goal and expected outcomes are less in accordance with standard NOC.
