Yogyakarta city is city of culture that has a diversity of tourist attractions and have a variety of events often held each month. Information about this has not been spread evenly. Mobile phone is ideal in information dissemination tool because many societies people use it. Especially now that mobile phones have evolved into smart phones that have more modern technology than previous mobile phones. Based on these problems, it needs an application based on Android which can provide information about events and attractions in the city of Yogyakarta. This application was built using Java, MySQL for its database management, and Google Maps API for the implementation of the map. Application Agenda & Tourism Yogyakarta has been successfully built. This application can help smart phone users in searching for information about events and information in the city of Yogyakarta. In this application provided several features including a site plan events, tourist attractions in the city of Yogyakarta, and GPS features that serve to guide users to where you want to target.
