Summary:A new Kulon Progo airport construction plans will have an impact in the field of transport, such as a trip from the airport from the city of Yogyakarta towards a new Kulon Progo airport requires overland public transportasi. Public transport is the train PRAMEKS research. The purposeof this study is to get the estimated number of passengers, the number of trains required, and routes are used. The data of this study using primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by direct surveys, and secondary data obtained from agencies or organizations the relevant. In search of primary data using a stationery supplies, watches, and counters. From the discussions that are already done the research used the results obtained, the amount of the required series of trains and amount of passengers. The route are used from Yogyakarta city towards new Kulon Progo airport through Lempuyangan - Tugu Yogyakarta - Wates - new airpor Kulon Progo. Amount fleet of Train requiring at year 2014 as many as 1 sets trains by the amount of passenger are 4,346 passengers per day. At year 2017 requiring 1 sets trains with 4,927 passengers per day. At year 2020 requiring 1 sets trains with 5,586 passengers per day.
