The failure of the dam would cause a flash flood, which resulting in extremely disaster in downstream areas such as the possibility of loss of life and property damage. To reduce the magnitude of the risk occurring, then it can do a search of flooding due to the collapse of the dam, so that the results of flood routing can be used as an ingredient in order to mitigate catastrophic flooding due to dam collapse. The analysis is performed, using HEC-RAS software with regard parameters cause the collapse of the dam include: a wide field of debris dams (b), how long the collapse (�), and the slope of the dam debris field (z). With the flood hydrograph is obtained, the mapping of flood prone areas as a result of the failure of the dam. The analysis showed that a simulated dam failure is strongly influenced by the input parameters, especially in the field of debris slope (z) and the final fracture width (b). From the results of simulations carried collapse due to overtopping with z: 1, b: 60 obtained the highest peak flood discharge and dangerous for the downstream of the dam.
