Summary: | Corporate chain store is one example of an company that increasingly
tight competition both in the scale of local, national, and international level.
Corporate chain stores are currently increasing in all regions of Indonesia
especially in Yogyakarta. The problem often encountered by corporate chain store
the excess inventory is local for goods that have a low level of sales and stock out
for goods that are sold in the market. It is closely related to the availability of
products in the warehouse. Product availability and an economical price can only
happen by having a good coordination between the parties in its supply chain, so
that planning and a good setting on the side of the supplier, warehouse, and an
entire branch of the retailer desperately needed to make the company the optimal
gain.
This research provides an alternate solution to manage inventory so that
companies can gain competitive advantage through effectiveness in the supply
chain where the central warehouse is responsible for managing the supply of
consumers through the flow of information between the central warehouse and
retailer. As for the purpose of this research there are two, the first is to determine
the allocation of the optimal distribution of product from warehouses to every
retailer where the retailer becomes a point of sales so that the retailer doesn't
need to perform purchase order delivery to the central warehouse. The second
objective is to determine the optimal number of orders which must be booked by
the warehouse to the supplier. Processing method used in this research is the
Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and compared with the method of fuzzy
inventory model for fuzzy fuzzy demand and lead time for determination of the
amount of the order, while the allocation push method and fuzzy inference system
thrust Mamdani is used for the determination of the allocation of the optimization
of the distribution of the products from the central warehouse to each retailer.
Based on research results, calculating the product allocation using Fuzzy
Mamdani inference system produces stockout lower compared to push systems
approach, while the results of the counting of the number of orders, ROP, and
optimal safety stock is obtained by using the methods of fuzzy logic. Using Fuzzy
Mamdani method for product allocation from warehouse to retailer and fuzzy for
inventory based ROP and service level value for ordering product system from
warehouse to supplier produces total gross profit 0,19% higher or given by Rp
354.600,- compared with the other method. |
