Summary: | Port operational performance standards have been established through
government regulations and international standards. In meeting these standards
Tanjung Intan is required to deliver good operational performance, for it is
necessary to analyze the performance of port operations to determine the
condition of the existing port performance and projected needs of port facilities in
the future. In this research review for the assessment of performance in dedicated
port to a public port docks that serve general cargo ship
This study aims to analyze the level of projected flow of goods, ship, BOR
values, needs number of moorings, quay length requirements, the capacity of the
dock, and yard requirements so can result in performance improvement of the port
Tanjung Intan in Cilacap facility. For the calculation of vessel flow projections
and the flow of goods used three (3) methods namely linear trendline, polynomial
and econometriks whereas for the calculation of the value of the BOR, the number
of mooring requirements, needs long pier, dock capacity, and the yard needs to
use the formula contained in several reference books and literature on port
planning.
The results show the value of BOR, according to UNCTAD suggested
higher than 50% and in 2018 is projected to reach more than 115%, which means
the bustle in the harbor has been very high, whereas if the decision by the
Government / Director General, the valuation of the BOR projections from 2014
until the year 2018, is still considered good. Ship traffic at the port Tanjung Intan
in Cilacap until 2033 has increased approximately 2.69% per year flow of goods
at the port Tanjung Intan in Cilacap to 2033 increased by about 5.89% per year.
Needs dock in 2033 is projected to approximately 1,243 meters. The capacity of
the pier in 2023 to approximately 4,760,619 tons per year, which means still
enough throughput berth can accommodate up to 2033 |
