ETD The influence of parallel cylindrical stack in various materials (cable sheathing, witrit and glass) to temperature decrease in the cooling system of standing and traveling wave thermoacaustic has been conducted. Resonator tube used in refrigerator termoacoustic is PVC (polyvinyl chloride) tube for standing and travelling wave. The tube with length of 87 cm and a diameter of 5,25 cm is used for standing wave, and length of 200 cm diameter and 5,25 cm for travelling wave. The aim of this study is to determine the best stack materials used in cooling termoakustik standing and travelling wave. Optimal frequency value is obtained by varying the frequency from 95 Hz to 103 Hz in the intervals of 2 Hz for a standing wave, while for the travelling wave from 60 to 80 Hz in the interval of 5 Hz. The length of stack is varied (6 cm, 7 cm 8 cm) in order to obtain the optimum length of the stack, it occurs at the optimum temperature decrease on cooling system of standing wave. Optimal input power, the power at the optimum temperature decrease, is obtained by varying the power from 20 watt to 60 watt in the interval of 10 watt. Based on the research results obtained, the existence of the stack in the cooling tube in a standing wave resonator causes a shift in the resonance frequency of several types of material stack, from the resonance frequency of 99 hz be (101.0 ± 0.5) Hz to stack PVC cable sheath and the cable sheath rubber, while for the stack of the glass to be (103.0 ± 0.5) Hz. The results obtained optimum temperature decrease by 9 ° C using PVC cable sheathing material stack with the optimum length of 8 cm at a frequency (101.0 ± 0.5) Hz and input power (60.0 ± 0.5) watt for cooling a standing wave. System of travelling wave shows that the optimum temperature decrease at 6 °C by using a PVC cable sheating stack, the stack optimum length of 8 cm, a resonance frequency of (60,0 ± 0.5) Hz and (60,0 ± 0.5) watt of input power. It can be concluded that the stack of the cable sheating PVC is a good material for cooling termoakustik. Besides, with the increasing input power used will be more rapid achievement of optimum temperature decreases.
