Summary: | The presence of women as the leaders is based on the companies� need of the leaders who have orientation on the relational ties and be able to maintain the company well. Model of qualitative research with a case study approach is used to highlight how women's leadership in the PT. MACA. The purpose of this study is to understand in more deeply towards the alteration strategy of President Director PT. MACA in relation to face the challenges in the company. Javanese culture is inherent in the company is a challenge, beside the challenge of leading the employees who were are much older. The main respondent in this study is Managing Director of PT. MACA. The triangulation process is also carried out with the involvement of several informants from the PT. MACA. The data collection process will apply the method of observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The method of analysis and interpretation of the data is conducted by the categorical aggregation or direct interpretation, and correspondence and patterns. The analysis shows that tepung, dunung, serawung process as a philosophy of Java value is suitable to be applied in the leadership styles of the respondent. It can be seen from the change strategy which consists of improving the quality of employee relations, the changes in the pattern of top-down communication into a bottom-up, the changes of the core values, the increasing of the company profit, and the stakeholder management. The increasing number of visitors, visitors and stakeholder satisfaction, and the increasing company profits can be perceived as the accomplishment of the strategies.
