Summary:There are several factors that may affect a nurse’s job satisfaction, such as resilience and quality of work life. However, the explanation about how these three variables related is still limited, especially for the nursing profession. The purposes of this research is to examine how the role of resilience and quality of work life in enhancing job satisfaction. The research were conducted using quantitative method, by asking 170 participants to fill in the job satisfaction scale, resilience scale, and quality of work life scale. The participants of this research were female nurses in two private hospitals, who have been working in the hospital more than 1 (one) year. Data were analyzed using the method of moderated regression analysis (MRA) method in the SPSS software program. The results of this research showed that resilience may affect job satisfaction significantly. However, quality of work life isn’t a moderator in the positive relationship among resilience and job satisfaction. Quality of work life played more role as mediating variable between resilience and job satisfaction.
