Description
Summary:In this research, we investigate the relationship between health status and socioeconomic variables, consumption behaviour and health service policies. We estimate the relationship using Indonesia Family Life Survey Data (IFLS). In the first year research, we produce the statistic descriptive of the data. Based on the data analysis, wefound that household expenditure for health is minimum compared to other expenditures such as expenditure for food consumption, education and even less than expenditure for smoking. Besides that, we found that households in Indonesia that utilize the health facility from government, such as kartu sehat, keterangan tidak mampu, are less than ten percent in average, and less than 20 percent who use dana sehat. It means that the utilization of those facilities is still limited and the government should consider this problem in the future.
