It was done purposively using secondary data of Brebes's rate of agricultural commodity product and Central Java's agricultural production rate in period 1993-2002. As supporting data, was used Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita based on 1993 constant price. Analytical techniques used Loqation Quotient, Shift Share, Growth ratio model, Overlay and Klassen Typology. Result of this study indicated that commodity produced for own need and sellable to other regions were potato, red onion, chili, banana, clove, vanilla, tea, cotton, duck, buffalo, local chicken, and bandeng fish. Overall, there was change of rate of agricultural commodity production during observation period in Brebes regency positively compared to change of agricultural commodity rate in Central Java. Commodity with positive performance were rice, corn, cassava, potato, red onion, chili, mango, star fruit, kapok, clove, coconut, tea, cashew, cotton, cow, goat, shrimp, bandeng, blanak and terinasi. Commodities having dominant growth, either in Brebes regency or in Central Java province were potato, red onion, mango, kapok, clove, shrimp, bandeng and terinasi, while commodity that advanced and grow fast were potato, red onion, duck, and bandeng. Results of overlay analysis indicated that commodities that surplus and grow dominantly, competitively were potato, red onion, chili, clove, tea and bandeng. Based on analyses of the five techniques, commodities that were superior commodity priority were red onion, bandeng and potato.
