A number of 35 meat chickens were deviled into 7 groups. Chicken of PoE group were fed with basal diet controls. Chicken of PrsE, PrtoE and Pri5E were fed with basal diet and fresh papaya leave powder at percentages of 5%, 10% and 15% respectively. Chicken ofPtcSE, PkioE and PusE were fed with basal diet and drxpapaya leave powder at percentages of 5%, 10% and 15% respectively. On day 14 'of all groups were infected with 1000 oocysts of Eimeria tenella. All data obtained were processed using Split plot Design, and when significant differences were obtained the processings of data were continued using Single Factor Randomized Design and Tukey HSD Test. The results of this experiment showed, that the weight gains,the feed consumptions and the number of the oocysts in the faeces of the treated chicken were significantly difference (P< 0.05), and the water consumptions were no significant difference (P > 0.05) when compared with the control chickens, and histopathology examination showed normal. It was concluded that additions of papaya kanin powder in the basal diet were very useful for the growing meat chicken, and may help the chicken to lessen the adversed effects of coccidiosis infections, and consequently reduce the mortality rates.
