Description
Summary:ABSTRACT Gamma Spectrometry Analysis is one of the non destructive analysis methods. In this test, a gamma scanning is conducted on 2 post irradiation fuel elements which one coded by TDT and TT respect fully. The gamma activity distribution shows that the burn up fraction profile of the TDT fuel element distribute uniformly a long the fuel. While for the TTfuel element, the burn up fraction profile decrease from pellet to pellet in accordance with the position of test fuel element in reactor core during irradiation. The active column length of the fuel, position and pellet interphase can be determined By visual observation there is no crack on fuel element cladding and no migration of fission yield gases from pellet to pellet.
