In this study 36 healthy cats of the various strains, male and female, with body weight of 2,43 ± 0,54 Kg were used. The animals were anesthetized and divide into 6 groups. Three groups get each 2,5 and 10 ugr/KgBW/ minute dopamine and followed by adding dobutamine 2, 5 and 10 ugr/ KgBW/minute. The 3 other groups were given dobutamine only as the dopamine groups. Dopamine and dobutamine were given I.V. The hind-limb and renal vascular resistance were calculated by computing the systemic blood pressure and the hind-limb and renal blood flow volume. The hind-limb and renal blood flow volume were observed directly by using a drop recorder mounted on the femoral vein and renal vein. The result of this study was that dopamine 2 ugr/KgBW/minute decreases the renal resistance and systemic blood pressure, but the hind-limb vascular resistance is increasing.
