Description
Summary:ABSTRAK When models developed by Kimber (1980), NAASRA (1988) and DPU (1997) were used to predict capacities of either entry lanes or weaving areas of a roundabout in Yogyakarta, it was found that the differences between the predicted capacities and the observed ones were large. It was suspected that one of the main reasons was the fact that all models developed did not take into account road user behaviour. In order to investigate the relationship between road user behaviour and roundabout capacities, research has been carried out. Ultimately, the objective of the research was to model the relationship between geometric features of weaving areas, traffic flows in weaving areas, driver behaviour when entering weaving areas from entry lanes
