Every people does his activities almost take place in the -urban public open space. This study is to investigate the type of public open space using Yogyakarta as a case because of its complexity. Three theories of urban design: figure ground, linkage and place to be used as a tool jr analysis. The result of this study shows that the existence of public open space cannot stand alone, it needs united to the surroundings context. System and form of its united are: (I) closed linier dynamic and closed central static: (2) open linier dynamic and open central static. |
