To accomplish the project� BPN established a number of new control points by using traverse observation technique. In order to bring into TM-3° projection system, the observed data, in this case are angles, distances and azimuths should be reduced. This study will observe the reduction steps and also the effects of the value toward the observed data. The result shows that for the Land Administration Project which the average height of the area is less than 1000 meters and the traverse distances commonly are less than 500 meters, the reductions of angle and distance can be ignored.
