To know the intrinsic natural increase rate of its population, the experiment was conducted in Manisrenggo, KL3ten , Central of Java. Mealybug was reared on melinjo leaves which were replaced every 10 days. Observation were done to 500 nymphs as a cohort, 20 colonies for sex ratio and 50 nymphs for fecundity, and then a life table was constructed. The calculation based on the method employed by Birch (1948).
