Summary: | In order to determine the problem of the human nose, the pressure of the each nose is considerably needed. Asymmetrical pressure of the right end left nose indicates abnormal function of the nose. The equipment to measure the air pressure of the nose is called Rhynornetry. Rhynometry can represent the appliance to measure the air-duct gagging that happened at nasal cavity. Rhynometry based on the computer personal has the secretor air pressure monitoring system at left and right nose channel, and also has the data base inspection.
In this research the common industrial strain-gage as the main transducer were used. This Transducer owns the maximum error between 0.20 Pa output voltages with the measured pressure. Considering that analogous to digital converter (ADC) hence ADC 0808 is based on data 8 bits, and also its reference voltage 5 volt.
The Software of rhynometry is made based on Delphi 6.0 programming, and also with the data access from apparel of port DB-25. The port of DB-25 of personal computers (PC) gives the status at analog to digital converter (ADC).
Software of rhynometry appearance will give the information about right nostril and left nostril blowing difference which almost at the same time. In order to measure the pressure the strain-gages were used, ably read maximal until 100 kPa at 5V of the output voltage. Assess the maximum deviation difference 0.71%, hence this scheme own the deviation which relative minimize.
