Description
Summary:ABSTRACT Graphical plotting-control through aerial photographs was classified into Radial-Line Method MRL) and Slotted Template Methode (MST). These methods had the same basic called radial- line triangulation, however their mechanisms were different. The mechanism of the MRL's plotting control was more complicated then the MST's, however its material was cheaper and more available. Templates were used for the MST's plotting-control made from steel or other material such as industrial products. The objective of this research was to observe results of the both plotting-control methods, which were several lines in certain distances with their positions made perpendicular or parallel to the flight line. These lines were measured either in the field or on the map conducted by MRL or MST and were distributed within four slope classes with eight data in each class. Ninety six data were collected and analysed with one-way-analysis classification and seventy two data are analysed with two-way-analysis. Results showed that there was no significant difference in the slope and accuracy among the three measurements carried out in the field and on the maps using MRL and MST at the scale of 1 : 50000.
