Summary: | ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to study the effect of Srikaya seed extract toward Aedes aegypti larva. Extract of srikaya (Annona squamosa line) seed has bioactive content which can be used as an effective vegetable pesticides. This bioactive is classified to the alkaloid compound like Acetogenin and Annonaine. Kind of this research is pure experiment with posttest only control group design, that the subject divided into two groups with five treatments and five replications. The number of doses which used in this research are 400 ppm, 500 ppm, 600 ppm, 700 ppm and 800 ppm. The data was analysed using ANOVA test with significance level a = 0.05. The result of this research shown that srikaya seed extract showed different death of larva in each dose after 12 hours observation at the lowest dose of 400 ppm there were 34% death and at the highest dose of 800 ppm gave 89% of death.
