Summary:This research analyzes differences of quality management implementation between textile industry and food and beverage industry, and how far is the readiness of companies especially in Central Java, East Java and D.I..Y to fulfill dimensions of quality management. From differences, each industry can solve its weakness by learning each other. There are two management techniques that can be implemented by company to improve quality, that are Total Quality Management (TQM) and ISO 9000. Sampling method is proportionale stratified random sampling. This research takes 300 companies, of which 205 are food and beverage industries and 95 are textile industries. Questionaires that can be analyzed just 70, of which 32 questionaires are food and beverage industries and 95 questionaires are textile industries. Questionaires were sent out by mail. t-test, correlation and multiple regression were used to analyze hypothesis. Results show that,first, there are differences in fulfilled dimensions of quality management between two types of industry. Second, there are differences between textile industry and food and beverage industry in relationship between ISO 9000 and Total Quality Management (TQM). Third, there are differences in correlation of contribution of quality management dimensions on business performance improvement between two types of industry. Fourth, there are significant differences on quality management implementation contributing on business performance. Keywords: Quality, Quality Management, TQM, ISO 9000
