ABSTRACT This research was intended to study the changes of physical, chemical, and biological parameters as indicator of stream quality of Kali Rejoso, Jombang, caused by domestic waste, reflecting the habit of the population along the side of Kali Rejoso in handling their wastes. The method of this research was a combination of survey and laboratory analysis. The water quality parameters were analyzed qualitatively with graphs and regression-correlation. Then the social-economics data were analyzed qualitatively by single table and crosstable. The result of this research showed that four stations were polluted at various levels. Water quality degraded from up stream to down stream, and in the afternoon the water quality was lower than that in the morning. In general, the water quality parameters showed temperature range of 26.35 °C-28.40°C, pH 7.36 - 7.51, DO 1.1 - 4.5 ppm, BOD 136 - 3.87 ppm, N1-1+4 0.32 - 3.44 ppm, current velocity 11.1 - 13 cm/second, SS 23.60 - 90.00 ppm, coil bacteria 28950 - 2.4E+13/100 ml
