Summary: | ABSTRAK
The complications of hyphaema are blood-staining and secondary glaucoma. Treatment of pilocarpine and sulfas atropin eye drops for hyphaema is still debatable until now. Pilocarpine eye drops will decrease intraocular pressure, with increasing effect the blood in anterior chamber. Sulfas atropin eye drops will increase intraocular pressure and decrease out-flow of the blood from anterior chamber.
This study was conducted to proof those statements. The result showed that sulfas atropin I% did not increase intraocular pressure significantly and pilocarpine 2% eye drops decreased intraocular pressure significantly.
