Summary: | Background: Health system in Indonesia is experiencing a reform due to decentralisation policy. This policy causes a big change on public and private sector's roles in health services. The great impact will be on the regional economy. In turn the regional economy change will influence local health system. This study aims to make a projection on the influence of decentralisation policy to the regional health system due to the change of regional economy.
Methods: This study is a case study with 7 provinces in Indonesia, including their districts, as the subjects of the study. The simulation of change in district economic situational as the impact of decentralization in 7 provinces is shown by secondary data.The local government economic strength is determined based on Regional Original Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Fund (DAU), and the simulation of Local Shared Fund (Dana Bagian Daerah). The community economioc strength is determined by Gross Domestic Regional Income (PDRB).
