| Summary: | The integration of Sexual-Transmitted Diseases (STD) control activities into family planning (FP) services in CHC has been long discussed since International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) in Cairo, '1994. Yet, until now the implementation of the integration in government s health services facilities, including CHC is not yet optimal. Knowing that STD/ HIV-AIDS cases are increasing, serious response from all health services facilities is urgently needed, so that the implementation of the programs activities can be successfully.
There are several opportunities that can make the integration possible, as followed: a. there is international commitment which is written in Cairo Document as an political policy |
