Description
Summary:Abstract At Mount Merapi, diurnal and semidiurnal periodicities in fluctuations of hourly number of volcanic shocks and hourly average of absolute volcanic tremor amplitudes have been found varying with time on their significancy. In time periods having low significancy on the periodicities of the volcano seismicity, several visual observations show significant activities at the volcano. This paper discusses how these phenomena might be used as indicators of visible and invisible volcanic activities. Keywords:volcanic activity
