Most of this resource energy developed in large scale of power plant (conventional system). In consideration of the nation's electricity need, human resource development, increasing economic, and industry of urban people, the development of a small-scale geothermal power plant is suitable for rural or remote area, especially in the eastern Indonesia. This paper will also describe the prospect of geothermal utilization in the small scale. The optimization of small-scale power plant in geothermal field consists of exploration program, slime hole drilling program, well production - surface facility management, and the power plant generation program. In general, combine or binary cycles generation is operated in the water dominated reservoir with high pressure and temperature. In combine cycle's, steam is delivered from high pressure to low-pressure turbine. Nevertheless, in binary cycle's the Organic Rankin Cycle (ORC) is applied, where the hot waste water from separator or production well driven to heat exchanger that filled with working fluid (Iso-buthane, Iso-penthane etc.) Key words: Slim hole, Combine Cycle, Binary Cycle, Water Dominated Reservoir, Organic Rankin Cycle
