Disaster risk reduction efforts might be effective based on community empowerment. The community empowerment can be built by education, in this cause public education. The material knowledge of earthquakes, tsunami, and risk management of disaster given in a class by oral and discussion in focus group (FGD). The simulation of disaster risk reduction was done at Togafo village and 300 people involved this activity. Simulation designed based on the normal activity in common village, the time allocated for 2 hours. The result of simulation took time less than 2 hours, the standard time for evacuation can be used as a model for evacuation time in real condition. .
