Design : Experimental laboratorium Setting : Orthopaedic section Laboratory, Department of surgery Dr.Soetomo Hospital I Medical Faculty of Airlangga University and Basic Laboratory, Airlangga University. Speciment : Tibial bone, of the cow Intervention : Those two kind's of external fixator were performed : bending test(600 N, Inter fulcrum distance 13,5 em) and torsion test (50 N,moment arm, 11,5 cm) Main Outcome : Opening fractured site (Bending) and shifting fractured site measure (torsion) Result : The result showed that eA1ernal :fixator with external conector methyl methacrylate (mean 2,9000) superior stiffuess compared with external conector K Nail- methyl methacrylate (mean 4,6514) on bending test, and on Torsion test external conector methyl methacrylate (mean 1,4986) superior than K Nail - methyl methacrylate (mean 5,4914), both were signifrcanl (p < 0,000) Key word : Biomecbanical test - external fixator - Methyl methacrylate - Kuntscher Nail.
