This is due to its small size facilitates manufacturing and construction, and requires less footprint than larger scale nuclear reactors. In terms of safety, microreactors are superior to large – scale nuclear reactors. In this research, neutronic analysis was carried out for Hydride Microreactor designed by Gadjah Mada University microreactor research team. The proposed Hydride Microreactor design is in the eraly stages of development, and research is needed to obtain the best fuel design. In this research, the design of Hydride Microreactor was modeled and simulated using Serpent 2 code. The neutronic variables analyzed in this research were multiplication factor during reactor startup and operation, PPF, reactivity coefficient, and reactor shutdown system capability during BOC. Independent variables used in this research were enrichment and fuel pitch size. These variables were analyzed for each changes in fuel pitch size and enrichment. Considering the previously stated variables, the best fuel pitch size and enrichment for Hydride Microreactor are 2,4 and 7%, respectively. This best design yields PPF value of 2.0303 and has overall negative temperature reactivity feedback. It also meets the shutdown system capability requirement as stated in IAEA SSG – 52. 2023-06-22 Thesis NonPeerReviewed application/pdf en https://repository.ugm.ac.id/278359/1/FTA-440340-DivaJK-Studi%20Parameter%20Mikroreaktor%20Hidrid.pdf Kanaya, Diva Jati (2023) Studi Parameter Neutronik Bahan Bakar Mikroreaktor Hidrid Menggukan Kode Serpent 2.
