Description
Summary:The implementation of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbine (WT) is widely applied. Indonesia is a country located in the tropics, with the potential for renewable energy sources such as solar and wind. The number of potential sources of renewable energy has an impact on the amount of energy that can be produced using PV and WT. Data on potential renewable energy sources is obtained from the NASA Prediction of Worldwide Energy Resource (POWER) database and is used for analysis of electrical energy that can be produced. The PV and WT power plants used in this analysis use a power range of 600 - 1200 Wp for PV and 1 - 3 kW for WT. The electrical energy that has been produced will be stored in energy storage in the form of a battery with a capacity of 1 kWh. The test analysis uses 6 scenarios of the number of PV, WT and batteries using a house load and charging an electric motorcycle.
