This study is condm:ted to determine the renal histology structure of the Cfuchipaga and CLinchi.. The kidney samples were taken from three mature Cfuciphaga and three Clinchi.
The samples were cut in 5 !lm each and stained in Hematoxyfen-Eosin (HE) for the microscopic examination.
The histological results showed that the kidney of Cfuchipaga and Clinchi. kidney located retroperitonial in the synsacrum cavity caudal from the lungs. Macroscopically the kidneys are in irregular-shaped with purplish-red color. Collocaliafuciphaga has rounded kidney, as long as 6.9% of the body. The cave swiftlet had flattened kidney, the length ratio was 7A% compared with body length. Microscopically, C. fuchipaga and the cave swiftlet both have medulla glomerulus larger than the cortex glomerulus. Histologically, no recal structural difference is observed between the two species |
