Summary: | The aim of research was to evaluate yield quality and agronomical character variations and to identify the correlation betvf,een agronomical characters and yield quality. The research has been done at KP-4 UGM Kalitirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta using Randomized Block Design Wth3 blocks. The research materia/l4ere nine lines promising of aromatic upland rice (GH9, GH10, GH12, GH13, GH19, GH34, GH35, GH39, GH136) Wth Menthik Wangi and Situpatenggangas check variety.
The results shol4ed that many variations was exist in yield quality. All of promising lines had good brolM1 rice, grain length and type. The best
translucency was observed at GH9. Almost all promising lines had low amylose content except GH136. Based on panelis test, it was sholM1that all promising lines have good taste except H136. Only GH10, 13, 19, and 34 have good aroma. The observation of Agronomical character are plant height, days of anthesis, days of harvesting, tillers number, productive tiller number, grain number per panicle, unfilled grain number per panicle, a 1000 grain l4eight, panicle length, and grain yield.
