History has mentioned that the reckless actions of the Japanese government to start a war with the United States should be paid handsomely. Compensation of these losses is the delivery of Okinawa islands for the United States. The defeat was not only descend one aspect but gives a great influence on other aspects. The problem that continually arises is closely associated with the presence of U.S. military bases in the region. The impact was so great that felt ever since the establishment of U.S. bases in the prefecture is the natural environment and social issues that are difficult to resolve. The government problem now is how to reduce, minimalize and even resolve problems of natural and social environments that continue to occur on Okinawa. From the study authors use the theory of foreign policy that will be used to align the policy to be made to address the problem. The results of this study indicate that the measures taken by the Japanese government that its foreign policy pursued through the show a success because of the efforts of Japan as an ally of the United States remained the country could maintain good relations with the U.S. side and on the other side of the Japanese government was also able to accommodate the demands of its citizens in solving the problems that had been happening in Okinawa. Although the entire policy can not be implemented optimally but positive things can already be felt by people in Okinawa. Through the Security Committee, the establishment of the Department of Defense and the ongoing bilateral agreement between both parties is a good progress and achievement in overcoming the problems that occurred in Okinawa. authors hope that the measures taken by the Japanese government is expected to bring Okinawa to a better future.
