Summary:The purpose of this study was to determine appropriate medical actions that should be resigned by physician to nurse, to determine method of authorization resignation from physician to nurse in such medical actions and to determine appropriate responsibilities of the parties those re-assigned the authorization and those accepting it in such medical action that happened in hospitalization room of Badung regional hospital. This study was using juridical-sociological method by normative and field sociological problem approaches. The type of this study was descriptive by using qualitative data, by data collection manner was conducted through questionnaire to support it. Some medical actions which resigned by physician to nurse in hospitalization room of Badung regional hospital that were injection as 41,7 %, infusion installation 33,3 %, catheterization 25,0 %, and NGT, kumbah lambung, traction skin installation 18,7 %. The methods of authorization resignation by physician to nurse were written (58,3 %), orally (41,7 %) or via phone. Afterwards, the responsibility of such resignation of authorization was hold by the physician, the nurse, and the hospital. The conclusion of this study was medical action which resigned by physician to nurse in hospitalization room of Badung regional regency that were injection, infusion installation, catheterization, monitoring high-risk-patients, NGT, kumbah lambung, traction skin installation. Reviewing the authorization, nurse those assigned in hospitalization room of Badung regional hospital had accorded with health laws and regulation of health ministry. It was due to unavailability of written medical action, which influencing the nurse in the implementation of resignation, and to be overlapped with nursing assessment. The methods of the medical action reassignment by the physician to nurse were written, orally and via phone direction. The responsibilities of such resignation of authorization was hold by the hospital, the physician those reassigned the authorization and the nurse as implementer of the authorization.
