outgoing goods. In general, the main task is to provide port facilities and
equipment that can be served quickly, safely and cost is relatively cheap. Related
to the above, the goal to be achieved in this study is to Performed an analysis of
cargo services in the warehouse and open storage so that it does not require longer
storage and optimizing the cost of function of warehouse and open storage to
speed cargo processing in and out of the storage.
In research done by predicting the arrival of the goods that come in the
next five years, also carried out calculations of power consumption (Throught Put)
and level of usage (Occupancy Ratio) from the warehouse and open storage.
Meanwhile, queuing model is determined by counting the cargo arrival rate with
the length of cargo services to find the distributions of each items in the storage
area that the arrival Poisson cargo distribution rate and exponential distributed
service rate determined the queuing model.
The results showed that the development of general cargo which follow
the curve estimation regression with linear model have an average increase of
6.16% per year over the next five years. From results calculation it was found that
the use of the warehouse is still relatively small with an average usage of 9.34%
while the addition of areas not required in the future. For stacking open storage
average consumption is spelled with an average consumption of 17.90% where
this needs to be considered for the expansion area. Waiting cost is obtained by Rp
393,99 / ton / day. As for the optimal length of time goods in the warehouse and
stacked in the open storage are for 2 days with with the minimum cost usage is
Rp. 2.931.59 /ton for warehouse and Rp. 53.664.71 / ton for open storage. |
