Summary:Policy evaluation is evaluating the success or the failure of policy based on the indicators that has been determined. Policy Evaluation of Teacher Recruitment in Viqueuqe District is an activity to know more comprehensively about the program success which is done through evaluation process that related to implemantetion process and the result evaluation that implemented has obtained as well as been established. Recruitment is a bunch of activity that is attracting the aplicant with motivation, competence, skill and knowledge which is needed to cover the lacking that identified in planning civil service. This research was done in Olocassa Public Senior High School, Public Senoir High School of 4 September Viqueque,Calixa Public Senoir High School by using evaluative research method. Data used in this research was both primary and secondary data. Primary data is gotten by observation and in-depth interview. While, secondary data is taken from documentation and literature study. The research result showed that recruitment of teachers in Viqueque district was not yet successfully. It stated not yet success, because recruitment of teachers was not accordance with the requirements or law established. It was obtained from: 1. The level of education,field of subject of teachers recruited. 2. The main task which received in their office. 3. The relationship among teachers and leaders. 4. The origion, birth place,sub-district,district of teachers recruited. 5. The language of teachers recruited and 6. Recruitment system that done by department of education in Viqueque district. Recommandation, the government needs to pay more attention to recruitmen system as well as possible the process of selection in order to recruit teachers in accordance with their background of education, both skill and profession of each teachers.
