| Summary: | The aim of this research is to reveal the worldview of Ketika Cinta Bertasbih
(KCB) novel written by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, and to reveal the expressions of
these world views in the text structure and social structure of the KCB. To achieve this
goal, this study uses the theory of genetic structuralism by Lucien Goldmann. The
method of this research is dialectical method which is proposed by the theory. The
method works by understanding back and forth between the world view, textual
structure, and social structure. This method enables the research to be started from
any of those component. Therefore, it begins from the formulation of the novel�s
world view and then the expressions of the world view within the textual and social
structures.
The world view formulated in this research is religious humanism. It reflects
human�s awareness and efforts in reviving the sense of humanity and aspiring for
better human relationship. The values stem within human being personally and
expressed in his thoughts, words, and acts. They are expected to shape human being
identity and personality as a good creature |
