| Summary: | This study aimed at describing an analyzing the differences in levels of development of
KUBE in Pacitan Regency, especially in Glinggangan Village, referring to the typology of
development. The objects were KUBE Sumber Mulyo and KUBE Sejahtera which have
received BLPS funding programme in 2005. Research was conducted with qualitative methods
through in-depth interviews with various informants with analysis of secondary datas.
The results of study showed that implementation of the BLPS programme in Glinggangan
Village had less optimal of assistance in connection with his related work as village head so he
was less focus on programme, and many beneficiaries were not able to develop KUBE optimaly.
Another implication was the existence on individualism that made the group did not work
together.
The results also showed that there were differences in the achievement levels of
development in both KUBE, even when those KUBE began to organize they were in the same
condition and quality. KUBE Sumber Mulyo was in the developing typology and KUBE
Sejahtera was in the growing typology. The differences of KUBE typology indicated the
lameness in the achievement levels of development which influenced by several factors both
internal and external.
Finally it is recommended to the government as administering institutions to give more
attentions in selecting the beneficiaries of programme in future, especially to the criteria of
prospective beneficiaries and the social assistance, so the empowerment programme for the poor
can work well and on target. |
