Summary:This study aimed to determine theoretically the adjustment of the juridical aspects of the cosmetic notification system in AHCRS with the Consumer Protection Act and to obtain a picture of consumer rights in AHCRS. In accordance with the subject matter, this study aims: (i) to assess the suitability of the application of cosmetics notification system on AHCRS in Indonesia with particular Law Number 8 Year 1999 on Consumer Protection and (ii) to assess whether the cosmetic notification system on AHCRS has guaranteed consumer's rights as stipulated in particular Law Number 8 Year 1999 concerning on Consumer Protection. This research is an empirical normative. The information sources will be limited to the structural officials on the Ministry of Health, and The Supervisory Agency of Food and Drugs which are having their task in the field of cosmetics circulatory function. The results showed that the notification system based cosmetics AHCRS agreement has imposed several aspects of consumer protection, namely the security requirements, labeling and information, and the evidentiary claims of the certificate of product analysis that should be apply by the manufacturer or business owner who willing to distribute cosmetic products in a certain country. In AHCRS there are also consumer rights as set out in the Consumer Protection Act, namely rights to the comfort, security and safety, the right to choose and obtain goods and / or services that are appropriate, and the right to having correct information, clear and honest on the conditions and guarantees for goods and / or services.
