Background. The important aspects of pharmaceutical services to maximize the use of rational drug. Rational use of drug can minimize medication error. Drug administration errors are very dangerous for the consumer public espsecially pregnant women. Many drug of Indonesia are not eligible product insert, while human memory has the capacity to overcome the limitations. Because of that, it need a program such expert system as tool to provide an appropriate remedy to the disease patients. Target. The goal of research is implement and take advantage of expert system applications in the field of pharamcology an antenatal care in Sarbini Dewi. Research Method. This was a qualitative-quantities study with a quasi experiment design. The research was in Sarbini Dewi. The design was chosen to explore the needs for information that would be analyzed, and discussed in accordance with human resource information system form document, questioners and interview Result. Design and development of expert system in pharmacology of antenatal care easy to used. Design was as needed for users. Design began with designing DFD, ERD, and flowcharts. Application of expert system made provide benefits for decision making. These applications produced information as need and the design was quite attractive, simple and user friendly. Conclusion. Implemetation and utilization of axepert system made support of antenatal care in Sarbini Dewi
