Description
Summary:This study aims to analyze the effects of agricultural sector investment toward GDP agriculture sector by considering the influence of the land use and labor of the agricultural sector at Central Kalimantan Province. It uses annual data series time in period of 1994-2009 in the form of regional gross domestic product (GDP), investment (PMA and PMDN), extensive use of agricultural land and agricultural labor. In order to analyze the data, it used a regression analysis of partial adjustment model (PAM) aided with Eviews 5.1 software package. The findings indicate that agricultural sector investments (FDI and domestic) and agricultural land have a positive effect on GDP of agricultural sector of Central Kalimantan Province. Whereas, the number of agricultural labor is insignificantly affecting GDP agricultural sector. Based on the study results, it needs to increase the GDP agricultural sector through policies that encourage the increased agricultural investment. It also needs to conduct a technical study to increase land productivity, especially food crops and the growth of non-agricultural sector to pervade labor and finally, efforts to improve labor productivity on agriculture sector.
